Landlord Engagement Toolkit
Authored by Dr Jennifer Rae and Dr Tim Aubrey with support from Employment and Skills Development Canada, the toolkit brings together together learning from 60 individuals from 24 organizations across the country; “This toolkit is meant to be a practical “how to” guide to working with landlords in the context of a Housing First program. It will help program providers build effective, lasting relationships with landlords.”
We are excited to see a number of organizations we work with regularly who contributed to this great resource and we’re also honored to have both RentSmart tenant and landlord education included.
There are few different things I really like about this toolkit. It’s packed full of information that’s both practical and but it’s still really easy to navigate and to read. There’s a step by step approach to preparing, starting and maintaining relationships that’s going to be a welcome asset for both expert and novice teams. It also includes examples of forms and letters that will save you from reinventing the wheel.
If you haven’t yet had a chance to check out the toolkit, I’d encourage you to do so. A big thank you to everyone whose efforts have made this available.
